4-week rollerski courses, Richmond Park

7.9.11 - Wednesdays - 18.30 - beginners - classic technique

The Richmond Park course is our first of 2011, and fits in well between the clocks going forward and Easter.

The course aims to get you the basics of skiing technique and will improve balance, fitness and skills. As ever, we aim to produce good technique which can be easily transferred to snow, and have fun. Spring is a very good time to be out on rollerskis, especially in the surroundings of Richmond Park, London's largest game reserve.

Level 1 rollerski course

• 4 weeks skating course: Wednesday evenings, starting 18.30, 6th April;
• 4 weeks classic course: Wednesday evenings, starting 18.30, 7 Sept;
• First Richmond Park beginners' course of 2011;
• Ideal for beginners. Level 1 course with emphasis on technique - no previous experience of cross-country skiing or rollerskiing is required;
• Meeting just outside Sheen Gate, Richmond Park. Nearest Railway station Mortlake, 20mins from Waterloo Station;
• Great intro to rollerskiing; ideal for all ages and levels of experience;
• Will prepare you for regular rollerski training / Richmond Park Wednesday evening rollerski club

Our experienced instructors will get you moving in the unique surroundings of Richmond Park, SW London. Get to grips with cross-country ski skating / classic technique.

Cost: £85, includes ski hire.
