New equipment for Summer / Autumn 2011

We've introduced some new products lately. Leki Vario poles add more convenience to combi skiers and the Alpina rollerski boots allow for less sweaty roller skiing.

All are in stock, and available now. Coming in October / November will be our new selection of Salomon Equipe 8 and Equipe 10 skating skis, to join our Equipe 9 classic lineup.

Leki Titanium Vario poles

These allow adjustment in height, which makes them useful if you want to do both classic and skating. This makes them heavier than carbon poles but - thanks to improved materials - not much heavier than traditional aluminium poles. They come with Leki's 'Trigger Shark' quick release handles and are available in 145-165cm and 155-175cm lengths. You can buy them individually, or as a package upgrade.

Alpina Elite Skate & Elite Classic rollerski boots

We introduced these at the beginning of May, and they have become very popular. They're more like running shoes in their outer construction, but cross-country ski boots underneath. This makes them more comfortable for rollerskiing in all but the coldest weather. You can buy them individually, or as a package upgrade. Note: we currently have a good stock of these boots, but Alpina only produce them in small quantities each Spring. Once we run out, we have to wait until Spring 2012 for new supplies.

2012 Salomon Equipe 10 skate cross-country skis

This Autumn we will sell Salomon's New 2012 Salomon Equipe 10 Skate cross-country skis, as well as Salomon's New Equipe 8 Skate skis. The Equipe 10 Skate ski is the choice of UK number 1 cross-country skier, Andrew Musgrave (below), who finished 28th in the sprints at the Oslo FIS Cross-Country Ski World Championships this year.
