Rollerski racing calendar 2006

2006 could be one of the most exciting years of rollerski racing in recent times. The London Nordic Ski Club celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and the Scottish clubs are stronger than ever. The army and TA teams also look set to get more involved in rollerski racing this year.
LONDON - 5 rollerski races in the new London Rollerski Series, plus the 4 hour rollerski distance challenge in October. One hour race in June may be the English Rollerski Championships. British Masters races in Augst. NEW - London race entry form (31k download)
HUNTLY - will host 2 races of the British Rollerski Series this year, and its young skiers will again be expected to put up some impressive times. Expect strong competition from the rapidly improving development squad, and some inter-club rivalry between the Huntly and Cairngorm clubs.
DURHAM - will again hold a leg of the British Rollerski Series. Organised by Snowsport England and the British Masters. Durham may host this year's British Rollerski Championships.
LANCASTER - will also hold a leg of the British Rollerski Series. Organised by Snowsport England and the Manchester Cross Country Ski Club.

LONDON SERIES: Contact Chris Richards (LRNSC). Entry £6 in advance, £10 on the day. Races for all standards. Races run in conjunction with rollerski courses (£20 per day). £30 to entre the entire race series. Fill in London race entry form.
BRITISH MASTERS SERIES: Contact Adam Pinney (BMCCSA).
