Experience: Fern learnt to rollerski as a teenager, after seeing the Vancouver Olympics. She came to one of our courses at Dorney Lake and took it from there.
Joined the British Nordic Development Squad;
Spent 4yrs living in Sweden from 18; skiing and studying;
Qualified for the British National Senior Team;
Competed at World Jnr champs in Kazakhstan 2015, World u23 champs in Utah USA 2017 & World Champs in Lahti Finland 2017;
Competed in various Scandinavian and continental cups;
Competed in various rollerski races in Scandinavia and UK including the Alliansloppet SWE & Winning British Rollerski races and overall series titles;
Favourite thing as a coach is to encourage skiers out of their comfort zones and see them achieving something new, whether it’s rollerskiing for the first time or competitive training.
