Qualifications: Snowsport England qualified rollerski instructor

Experience: Ekaterina started skiing at age 6 and was under 16 regional champion (North-West Region of Russia, where everyone learns to ski before they learn to walk). She has competed in the Russian National Junior Championships representing her region. Each year she would spend up to 5 month on snow and roller ski in summer. Having come to the UK, to teach Russian at a school near Slough, Ekaterina has been a Snowsport England qualified instructor for many years, and teaches mainly at Dorney Lake. Katya took part in the Vasaloppet, 2012.

Other interests: travelling, road cycling, photography.

Ambitions: to compete in the British Champs and introduce more people to rollerskiing.

What does she do: roller skiing sessions (beginners, intermediate, advanced); private lessons at Dorney Lake, which is her local park.
