Rollerskis: Regular | Multi-terrain

Regular rollerskis offer the most 'ski-like' experience. They are light, and the ski parts are often made of the same composite materials as regular cross-country skis. They require a tarmac surface, although the surface doesn't have to be perfect.

The materials of the rollerski are chosen to absorb vibration, both in the ski and in the wheels. SRB wheels, for example, use rubber designed for aircraft wheels, which are excellent at absorbing bumps. Skis are designed to give the closest possible feeling to cross-country skiing on snow, and provide an excellent workout.

As standard, Marwe 610 rollerskis are fitted with medium-slow US6 wheels. But you can specify faster or slower wheels instead here -

As standard, SRB SR01's come with medium-fast training wheels, but faster and slower wheels are available. The fast wheels are somewhere between regular training rollerskis and racing rollerskis. You can specify these wheels instead here -

Order brake with SRB SR01 rollerskis (note the brake must be ordered with new rollerskis, whcih are specially adapted to accommodate the brake - they can't be fitted to regular SRB SR01 rollerskis).

 

 


Bindings note: we attach the bindings to the rollerskis for your convenience. To mount certain bindings correctly we need to know the shoe size you will be using with the skis. If you plan to use different shoe sizes with the skis, let us know the largest.

Regarding the new Salomon Propulse binding for classic skis, we fit the Propulse RC2 as standard (with heel platform), but can fit them the RC (no heel platform) if you let us know when you order.

 

  IMPORTANT NOTE ON FLEXORS - Salomon now supplies rollerski-specific 'Flexors' for Propulse bindings. These offer more resistance for classic rollerskiing, and compensate for the extra weight of the rear wheel.
