Highlights of 2010 rollerski year
It's been another actioned-packed year for rollerskiing in and around London. Snow marked the beginning and ends of our year - but it didn't stop our skiers from taking on some interesting challenges on wheels and on snow.
JANUARY
More skiers than ever before come to our courses in Hyde Park and Dorney Lake
Obertilliach on-snow trip sees 18 people begin ski marathon careers
Richmond Park club begins - with juniors, and later seniors, getting involved
British Cross-Country Ski Championships success - good club results in 4x10k cross-country ski races (2nd) and biathlon league (Paul, Rob, Alan & Iain)

Vancouver Olympics sees excellent GB results

Huge number of London / Dorney rollerskiers take part in Engadin Skimarathon & Vasaloppet - report
APRIL

London skiers come first and second in Wessex Sprints (ahead of British Biathlon dev squad), team includes Richmond Junior
Megan Lennard takes over from Laura Long as club social secretary
 
NOVEMBER
LHPCCSC 'hard core hill' training sessions take off, thanks to Riina's perseverance
Paul Gorbold makes British Biathlon team, Rob Dorward narrowly misses out
DECEMBER
Ukranian Olympic skier Mantas Strolia joins coaching team
Andrew Musgrave wins British Olympic Association 'Skier of the Year' award
Last club session of the year is completed, just before snow blizzard hits Hyde Park
