Rollerski Racing 2024 - 'Matched' Classic Races

Three races will take place on Swenor Alutech classic roller skis in the UK this year. One race is in Scotland - which is also the British Roller Ski Championships - and two are in London.

We love the 'matched' skis as they offer very much the fairest form of racing. Thanks to Swenor Roller Skis, we are supplying a large fleet of brand new Swenor Alutech skis (#2 wheel speed). We'd encourage you to take part in any / all of these races!

The Clashindarroch Hillclimb, near Huntly, is also this year's GB Roller Ski Championships. Taking place on Sunday 26th May, the race is a demanding 8.05k ascent, with a shorter 4.85k option for juniors. You can find more information about the club and race here - www.nordicski.co.uk

The London Region Nordic Ski Club is running the second race on Sunday 23rd June at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit. This race will be a 12k Mass Start, with a shorter distance for juniors and novices. Pictured here is a previous race run by the LRNSC in November 2017 - expect slightly warmer conditions! You will be able to book here, londonnordic.org.uk

The final Swenor Alutech race will be a 15k / 7.5k race at Redbridge Cycle Centre, on Sunday 29th September. Run by our own London Cross-Country Ski Club, you will be able to book at rollerski.co.uk You can find pictures of the last race we ran at Redbridge (in skating technique) here.

Roller ski racing is the best form of training and preparation for cross-country ski racing on snow. Only in races will you push yourself so hard!
